The Kalelarga, officially Široka ulica, is Zadar's most famous street and the lively promenade running through the old town. Lined with cafés and shops, it has always been a meeting point and a stage for the city's daily life. Locals fondly say it is 'older than the city' itself.

At its best in the early evening, when locals come out for the traditional stroll (korzo).
