The Maslenica Bridge carries its striking arch across the narrow strait at Maslenica, where the Novigrad Sea meets the open Adriatic. Set against the backdrop of the Velebit mountains, it is a popular photo stop and a well-known bungee-jumping spot. The strait is one of the windiest places in Croatia, where the bora can blow with tremendous force.
Good to know
Bungee jumping is usually offered from the bridge during the summer months. In strong bora winds the crossing can be temporarily closed to high-sided vehicles.
