Galešnjak, in the Pašman Channel, is a small uninhabited island whose almost perfect heart shape has made it famous around the world. Seen from above it resembles a symmetrical heart, which is why it is often called the “Island of Love” and draws couples. It can be reached only by boat, for example from the coast near Turanj.
Good to know
The island is privately owned and is best experienced up close on a boat trip through the Pašman Channel. Its famous heart shape only reveals itself from above.
