Greeting to the Sun (Pozdrav suncu)

Set into the pavement of the Riva right beside the Sea Organ, the Greeting to the Sun is a large circle of 300 glass plates that gather solar energy during the day. After sunset the installation comes alive, sending a colourful play of light dancing across the ground. Also created by architect Nikola Bašić, it forms an ensemble of sound and light together with the Sea Organ.
