The People's Square has been the central square of Zadar since the Renaissance and was for centuries the stage of public life. Along its sides stand the open City Loggia and the former guard house, two elegant reminders of the Venetian era. Today cafés around the square invite you to watch the bustle of the old town over a cup of coffee.
